Lapu-Lapu Shrine, Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines
SuTuKil (Sugba, Tuwa, Kilaw), I don't really know the exact translation in English, but I know them coz this is my native tongue, let's try this.. Sugba (Grilled), Tuwa (Stewed) and Kilaw (Raw). This is the must-try recommendation of our Safety Manager AEG here in Cebu before going to Cebu City.
The location of the restaurant is not very welcoming coz you need to pass thru a narrow pathway inside the souvenir shops. The outside looks of the restaurant itself is not pleasing too. Oh, come on, am I going to be disappointed here? There's a lot of fresh sea-foods to choose from in front of you. When the lady start mentioning the prices of PHP200+ to PHP500+ with additional cooking charges in every menu. Again, whaaat? This is it, I'm totally disappointed. Oh no, its very expensive.
Because of the expensive prices, they only ordered 2 menus, sinigang na isda and adobong hipon. Are our orders even represents to SuTuKil? I guess not. LOL! Sorry guys.
To be honest, the taste of the foods were so delicious. The disappointment became awesome. Oh by the way, before I forgot, the inside of the restaurant has second floor and half open to see the view of the sea. By that time, it was low tide, so all we saw was thousands of suga-suga aka crablets.
The bill was PHP1,203.00, that includes 5 bottled water. Because we can't pull out PHP3 right ayaw, the waiter offered not to pay the 3 pesos. UHmazing.
